Turkish Castle in Slovakia

Turkish Castle in Slovakia
First, when I went to Turkish Castle for check, I have been shocked. Because, Castle is very small and  there were around many plant. I just saw some of the walls of the castle. I hope, The castle will be  looking very good after the restoration. I Believe, I will be useful in this project. I explored some documents on internet about castle and I found very useful information. I found, Written by Jozef Blaskovics ´´Ottoman Tax System in Slovakia´´ on internet. There were in the information, ´´When the Ottoman Empire came to Slovakia?´´,´´ How many years did it take domination?´´

THE TURKISH CASTLE
The Ottoman Empire, XVI. and XVII. a few centuries, today's military areas of Czechoslovakia, after the victory, took control over parts of southern and eastern Slovakia is quite large. In 1543 the Ottoman Empire, Slovakia input Esztergom (Esztergom) started after the conquest of the fortress. The Ottoman Empire domination, in the region with ended the fall of the fortresses of Eger and Budin .
Historical sources, as it is known, more than 600 villages and town after the conquest of Filakovo (Filakovo, Füle) and more than 700  villages and town, after the conquest of Uyvar (Ersekûjvâr, Nove Zamky), the dominance of the Ottoman Empire  have adopted their own consent.
Success the acquired in these areas enough with the victory of the Ottoman military superiority and not explained as weapons. The secret of this success, the political behavior of the Turkish tax system and resourceful. The Ottoman tax system more fairer than  Austrian tax system. According to the Austrian tax system, one-tenth of the public revenues to the state, after paying all of the remaining nine-tenths of the Christian church (ecclesiatic) is paid for one-tenth. People paid a total of 19 per cent tax. According to the Ottoman tax system, as people paid for the tax one-tenth of all incomes. People paid a total of 10 per cent tax.

Austrian Tax System
Ottoman Tax System
All income %10
+
Christian church (ecclesiastical) is paid for %9
Just All in come %10

Ottoman domination continued in Slovakia of 143 years. Rima Sonbat region included the Ottoman Empire 133 years.

The most important collection of historical documents, and the biggest Turkish Rimavska Sobota (Turkish Rima Sonbot) are kept in the archives of the city. Slovakia and Hungary near the border in the south east, Riva has a population of 25 thousand in this city on the edge of the creek. The first is Rimavska Sobota 1554-1593, the second of two times in 1596-1686 came under Ottoman rule. 255 Turkish historical documents belonging to the second circuit of the city archives are stored.
Peace was held in 1559 between the Ottoman Sultan and the Emperor of Austria, but all regions of south-eastern Slovakia and Hungary-Slovakia border was the scene of the war almost continuously. Filek the banner of the facility after the Ottomans, the starboard tied all this region. Rima Sonbot, Rojna, Yoşva, Luçeniça (Lucenec, Losonc) and Tisovec was a Ottoman territory. The Ottoman soldiers was placed in the to sobotka castle Thus the whole region under the protection of the Ottoman.
The war began again between the Ottoman Empire and the Austrian Empire in 1593. Sobotka Austrian army after the victory a few that are subject to the castle and the castle city of Sonbot Rima had taken back from the Turks on November 9, 1593. Thus, the Ottoman rule in southeastern Slovakia, which lasted forty years came to an end the first circuit.

Ottoman Empire, Erlau on October 13, 1596 (in German: Erlau) has taken the castle. Thus, the Ottoman Empire, the Austrian Empire, certainly struck a heavy blow. Erlau castle after receiving all of these regions (Rima Sonbot, Rojna, Luçeniça, Mişkofça and about 400 villages) that make up city of Erlau surrendered to the Turks till 1686.

My best experience so far as a volunteer

My best experiences as a volunteer here in Slovakia are been real to people I have met and the individual and of course cultural differences that I have faced. It amazes me constantly how unique we are and then again how similar in some ways. Living in a foreign country, and of course especially being an EVS volunteer here and therefore being in even more multicultural companies, has tought me a lot about people and about the different ways  communication between people
